DOES MY CHILD NEED TO FOLLOW THE

RECOMMENDED VACCINATION SCHEDULE?

 

Yes. Without exception, our team follows the vaccination guideline of the American Academy of Pediatrics to protect our patients, our patient's families, and our staff.  The vaccination schedule can be found at:

Timing and brand names we use in office:

​

2 month visit: DTaP, Polio, Hep B & HiB (all in Vaxelis), Pneumococcal (Prevnar 20) & Rotavirus (Rotarix Oral).

4 month visit: DTaP, Polio & HiB (all in Pentacel) , Pneumococcal (Prevnar 20) & Rotavirus (Rotarix Oral).

6 month visit: DTaP, Polio, Hep B & HiB (all in Vaxelis), Pneumococcal (Prevnar 20) & Flu shot (Flulaval) seasonally.

9 month visit: Flu shot (Flulaval) seasonally.

12 month visit: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Varivax), Hep A (Vaqta).

15 month visit: DTaP, Polio & HiB (all in Pentacel) , Pneumococcal (Prevnar 20).

18 month visit: Hep A (Vaqta).

4 year visit: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Varivax), DTaP & Polio (Kinrix).

11 year visit: TDaP (Boostrix) & Meningococcal ACWY (Menquadfi).

11 year and older: Recommended but not required - HPV (Gardasil 9). Two dose series if started before 15 years of age. Three dose series if started after 15 years of age.

16 year and older: Meningococcal B (Bexsero). Two dose series.

Annual flu shots are always recommended!
